Today was one of those runs that left me feeling SO GRATEFUL for where I live, work and play! This was my lunch hour! Yeah - not to shabby of a place to be over lunch. I had a smile from ear to ear as I ran to Spanish Banks today. Had that song "I've got a feeling" playing on the IPod and some other great songs that just put a smile on face. It rains A LOT here and maybe that is was caused the true sense of appreciate that came over me today - because when the sun comes out, our city is shinning! People are always out here rain or shine, you kindof just become a custom to it. I have run in hail the size of dimes that really hurts when it lands on your nose and I have run in the beautiful sunshine, and on lots of overcast days (quite often). Today just felt special!

Speaking of Giddy - the BIG Man and I had a bit of date on the weekend. I consider anytime we have alone, without the Midget pretty much a date:))) We went to the gym and did some cardio together and weights and then went for lattes and muffins! So nice to sit and chat with each other.
and yes - I took a photo - as I was taking it his words were "you aren't taking a photo for your blog are you?" Umm yes!
The Midget also helped out this weekend with some recycling:
Everytime I recycle, I think of my niece who really got me going on it! I think it's great to teach our little people as much as we can to make their world a better place for them.
